10 Useful Adobe Photoshop CS Text Effect Tutorials
Adobe Photoshop CS can be used to create some wonderful text effects, which in turn can be used to spice up websites, blogs, posters, logos and so on. But for the photographer, accustomed to using Photoshop CS to edit photos, this side of the program may be something of a mystery.
I searched the most popular Photoshop tutorial websites to bring you some of the best text effect tutorials around. What’s more, I put each one to the test and created ten Magical Places logos using the techniques that I learned.
Take a look at what I created, and click on the links to see the tutorials (which will open in a new window). You’ll observe that my logos look somewhat different to what you see in the tutorials because I experimented with different fonts, colours and layer blending effects. In fact, a couple of my examples look completely different.
The key is to experiment, learn some new things, and have fun!
